After back-to-back weekends of big games throughout the SEC, the league seems to be collectively taking a big deep breath this weekend before the gauntlet that is SEC play begins next weekend.
All but one SEC team this weekend is playing a series against a foe from a mid-major conference, with the one exception being Ole Miss playing Purdue, a team that is not expected to be among the top contenders in the Big Ten.
On paper, it’s a light schedule, and there’s no argument to be made otherwise, but there are a couple of tricky series on the docket,[…]
