The New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau was asked about small forward RJ Barrett’s benching against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday to close out the game:
“We know he’s a critical part of our team. We need him to play well. But we’re always going to put the team first. We thought the group that was out there gave us the best shot.”
