Previewing Farmers Insurance Open Round 4

Watch out folks, here comes Jon Rahm

On Friday at the Farmers Insurance Open, the major championship winner and former World No. 1 continued his blazing hot start to the 2023 season in style with a third-round 66, vaulting himself just two strokes off the lead set by Sam Ryder. Of course, Rahm has won both of his starts in 2023, including at the PGA Tour’s first-ever “designated event” — the Sentry Tournament of Champions — as well as last weekend’s victory at The American Express.

Rahm will need another red-hot finish during a rare Saturday finish on the PGA Tour — enacted in order to avoid a ratings fight with the NFL Conference Championship games — in order to see his winning streak extend to three. He’ll also need to chase down Sam Ryder, who enters Saturday with a two-stroke lead and looking for his first PGA Tour win.

You can stream the final round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday or watch the telecast on Golf Channel starting at 2:30 p.m. ET and CBS at 4:30 p.m. ET.
